Our Commitment to you … and to the Planet:

From our family, to yours

From our family, to yours

“It’s not about what it is, it’s about what it can become.”
— Dr. Seuss, The Lorax

Fat Pants feels very passionately about making an impact that matters. From our staff training, to the construction of the interior of our building, to the equipment we use and the brewing of our beer, to our choice to use 100% compostable or reusable dishware, we vow to take daily, measurable steps towards a greener business and share in your commitment to our environment.

Wherever possible, we commit ourselves to providing you, the customer and our community, with a sustainable alternative.

We strive to partner with likeminded businesses and producers who can help us in achieving our goals— professionally as well as personally— to reduce our waste output; educate the community; assist with local green initiatives; and blaze a trail for a new generation of sustainably centered companies.

The average restaurant in the United States produces roughly 100,000 pounds of trash per year (*). Fat Pants maintains a goal of producing less than 1 cubic yard of trash per week (roughly 175 lbs) or equivalent to less than 10,000 lbs of trash per year.

Please help us in achieving and maintaining our goals by only bringing food and beverages into our space in compostable or recyclable containers; or, taking your non-organic garbage with you when you leave. We, and the planet, thank you for your shared promise for a greener future.
